Use a stylus or touchscreen for the most natural result. A mouse works too — signing slowly produces smoother curves than rushing through it.

Not everyone has a touchscreen. Type mode renders your name in a handwriting-style font on the canvas — clean, consistent, and ready to download.

Downloading Your Signature

Once you are happy with the result, click Download PNG to save the file. The signature is exported as a white-background PNG at 800 × 240 px — a practical size for most document use cases.

You can also click Copy PNG to copy the image directly to your clipboard and paste it into a document or design tool without saving a file.

Where to Use a Digital Signature

PDF documents: Most PDF editors let you insert an image at a signature field. In Adobe Acrobat, use Sign & Fill → Add Image. On macOS, use Preview’s Markup toolbar. On mobile, PDF Expert and Adobe Fill & Sign both accept image signatures.

Google Docs: Insert → Image → Upload from computer. Position and resize the PNG at the signature line.

Microsoft Word: Insert → Pictures → paste or upload your PNG file.

Invoices and contracts: Add your signature image to your template before sending. Most invoicing tools (Wave, FreshBooks, Notion templates) accept image inserts.

A Note on Legal Validity

A PNG signature image is not the same as a legally binding electronic signature. For contracts and documents with legal weight, use a dedicated e-signature service (DocuSign, HelloSign, Adobe Sign) which provides authentication, intent capture, and an audit trail.

For internal documents, informal agreements, invoices, artwork, and personal use, a visual signature is generally accepted and sufficient.
